Tuesday August 22nd 11.55am

First update from Ant in the d3, they reached Dover at 8am and arrived in Calais at 11am and are currently traveling through Belgium heading for the Nurburg Ring in Germany eta 3.40pm their time 2.40pm our time.
The d3 has been keeping up with bikes although Ant has already been stopped by the local police who let him go with a warning.

20.34pm

One rider has already has his bike impounded in Germany and is now on his way home for doing 220km per hr in a 100km area

The rest are in Wuzburg eating a meal but will be setting off again shortly destination as yet unknown.

Wednesday August 23rd

Lots of police problems today Ant has been pulled 5 times lots of fines and was detained for 2hrs, Leggy and Aj each received a 1200 euro fine however all arrived in Switzerland.

Thursday August 24th

Italian police are lovely, excellent mountain roads perfect for bikes the sun is shinning and its 22 degrees expecting to arrive in Venice 5.30pm.
Ant has some great footage today especially of Carl on his MV Augusta and will upload a new video tonight.

Friday August 25th

The pack are driving through Slovenia heading for Zagreb in Croatia, its raining.

Dale from Performance Bikes on his ZZR 1400 Lost the front end of his bike and ended up in a field, right in front of the d3 so caught on camera. He and the bike are fine and back on the road, we are looking forward to seeing that footage!

Arrived at the Regent Hotel in Zagreb Croatia, what a nice place!

Saturday August 26th

The pack are now heading out of Croatia and through Slovenia towards the final finish at Salzburg Airport in Austria. 5 more bikes down today in the wet conditions, but all OK, (the worst was a fractured collar bone). The winners of CBR06 are Team Finland! One of the team (Timu) dropped his Ducati 996 1 mile from the finish! The riders are now heading to Munich for the final nights party.

The fist venue tonight is the oldest Beer Keller in Germany, the awards where given out here and then onto the Club with 3,000€ behind the bar!!! What a night!!

Sunday August 27th

Heading back home in the d3, not going well at all, raining, hangover from hell and 950 miles to go...

Stopped at the Nurburgring, booked into the Dorint and food at the famous Pistenklaus. Good night had by all and had a lengthy chat with Ghostrider. Future antandpete/Ghostrider plans discussed!! He was there to race Sabine the next day, his GSX-R 1000 against her Carerra GT around the Ring, Should be fun!

Monday August 28th

Raining and raining some more, spoke with Ghostrider and Sabine at the ring, not going well, we set off home in the d3 with a few other CBR06 people and finally made it back into the UK at 19:00 hours... What a week!
