2005 Pre Gumball Preparations:
Here is our new updated BMW Diesel Power d3, Part 1:
Last year we carried out allot of preparation work for the Gumball Rally, but a few things became apparent during the event that we had to address! One of these was that a pocket PC with navigation software is next to useless! Here is what we have done:
Fitted the BMW Sports upgrade brake kit consisting of floating cross drilled and ventilated discs and pads.
Replaced the standard 18" M Tech alloys with a genuine set of 19" BMW M3 CSL forged alloy wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 extra load tyres.
Retrofitted the Factory BMW DVD navigation system with 16:9 widescreen monitor, Traffic Master, TV and DVD and email on the move function.
Recoded the BMW 16:9 widescreen to have an AV channel to either display the laptop screen, any of the camera's or DVD's on the move. Optional Phillips 23" widescreen LCD screen in the rear window for the following Gumballers to watch!
As usual, we have recorded every minute of the 2005 event and we will give you the best footage around! We will show you the true side of Gumball Raging!
